It might be psychologically nicer to have 20k+ but our 18k is much better than the 20k it used to be, because of the quality and cost of the seats.

And of course we can get above 20k if we need to, but either way we're at least in the same capacity ballpark as... Swansea (20k), QPR (18k), Bournemouth (11k), Watford (20,400), Burnley (22k), Huddersfield (24k), Preston (23k), Brentford (12,700) and many others.

Didn't Blackpool have to make some hasty changes to their Ground when they started their ill fated spell in the Top Tier ? If so, it wasn't an ambitious Stadium that got them there was it ?

The Darlington reference could be considered relevant to us when you look at our attendances in the Championship and how they dwindled once the novelty wore off.

The last time we had an average home attendance of over 20000 was in 1959-60.

Since 1963, we've had an average home attendance of over 15000 just once, in 2004-05
