If we don't beat this lot, I will be absolutely fuming. They're terrible.

Screw the whole "take a draw away from home" mentality, we are MILES better than Wigan.

The priority has to be getting that second goal early on second half.

We’re deserving of it.

Oh and I don’t think Sheridan will last till Christmas.

Who is the commentator? He thought that Mayor was left footed? :eh: weird

We need to win this, simple as. Wigan look terrible. Really like the look of Fornah, looks an excellent player. Calm in possession even under pressure and doesn't just play safe sideway passes. Looks to pass the ball in between the lines.

Jephcott, Reeves and Hardie look a tad unfit to me which maybe isn't a huge surprise given their lack of gametime.

Totally dominant and look so much better with Jephcott and Hardie running the channels. Their hold up play has been good too. Helping we’ve played against a very poor Wigan team.

The trouble is we’ve been consistently poor in 2nd half’s this season. Probably should’ve been more clinical and gone in 2-0 up. Game still in the balance however a good 10-15 mins at the start of the second half should steady things, a 2nd goal obviously be nice and I feel would kill Wigan off

Doing well in the approach but the final ball is not finding a green shirt often enough. Reeves, Edwards, Moore and Mayor all guilty of wasting good positions. At the back we look like we are capable of giving a silly goal away as usual. We are by far the better team despite the absentees. How are we going to conspire to muck this up?

Very disappointing to only be 1 up and it could have been level just before HT with a couple of decent crosses into our box.

We should be 2 or 3 up and comfortable. They are easily the worst team we have played this season.

We have opened Wigan up almost at will time and again and got in behind them but the final pass or the attempt on goal has been poor. Apart from the goal, their Keeper has only made 1 save from Fornah's shot from distance.

Lets hope we don't look back at FT and rue our wastefulness.

Satisfactory result from the first half, but with a bit more pace in our own play it could have been more.

I'd probably be tempted to bring big frank on. I think he'd have some fun against this lot. Maybe Camara too for his energy.

I agree about the Co Commentator. He doesn’t seem to have anything good to say about Wigan.

I thought the last two balls they ‘slung’ into the box caused us problems. One was well defended by Watts the other was the bicycle kick that went wide after a scramble. That is something to look out for second half.

I thought Argyle played ok, but l look at this system and it frustrates me because to play a wing bsck system you need specialist players who can defend and attack and have the energy to go up and down the flanks. The nearest l think to that is Moore, but find his final ball frustrating. G Cooper (when he plays) & Edwards don’t feel like a wing backs either.

It was a great finish by a Hardie. Made it look easy. We have created opportunities without really testing their GK. Just need to take more care when getting into the final third.

Just because we are playing well why do the opposition need to be useless. They beat Portsmouth and Donny. Listening to the Wigan commentary and they are saying that this is the first time that they have been dominated this season. Just accept we have played well.Th second half may be different.

Wigan bring on a sub - a defender for a defender.

An excellent first half display. First to the ball, we are playing on the front foot and it is noticeable that the defenders and Fornah are looking to make the forward pass much more than playing backwards. Also noticed the tactic of Moore and Edwards switching wing back sides a couple of times in the half. I think the playing surface with the ball skidding off it is making that final ball more difficult. We need a second and also will need to weather when Wigan have a good 10 minute spell.

Reeves brings something different to midfield, he is working hard and I think he will tire and be replaced by Camara's energy at some point. Impressed with Watts, Fornah, Edwards and Moore today as well. Great to see Hardie get off the mark.
