Thought Paul Gallagher was quality as was Sinclair, Akos , Halmosi and BWP.

Slightly over the 10 years but Norris and Trigger were two of the most influential In our march up the leagues but on footballing ability alone it's has to be Lilian Nalis, he simply made the game look so easy.
I would say that is close to it. It has to be a player from our CCC days 9 or 10 years ago. I wouldn't consider the likes of Sinclair myself as he was only briefly with us and wasn't our player.

Chris Clarke?

We have a winner.

Mods close the thread, this discussion is over.

A shrewd signing at only 200 thousand pounds. To think some people reckon we could get AS MUCH AS THAT for Reid!!

Akos by a country mile. pure class.
Scott Sinclair's brief spell was amazing and changed the team dynamics but I don't count him as a full argyle player

Peter Halmosi, a real class above on the pitch.
Nalis came close though, loved watching him play.

I'm struggling to pick a standout from about 5. Not because they weren't brilliant but because each player brought different qualities.

My 5 would be..

Buzsacky
BWP
Nalis
SEB
Sinclair

Mpenza, in only his few appearances it was clear he was too good for this club.

Followed by Sinclair, Buzsaky, Wright-Philips, Ward, Gallagher and Cathcart.

42 Goals in 2 Seasons

Best Goals Return Since Sir Tommy Tynan

You can't compare div 4 stats with the likes of Tommy Tynan.

I would say Elliott Ward but then he was only a loanee (I think)

Lilian Nalis by a country mile. Akos & Peter were far too inconsistent to be considered in my humble opinion.
