Game was lost well before the sending off and it had very little bearing on the result.

Indeed, having started on the back foot the sending off was an irrelevance. In fact we played a little better soon after it. We have bigger issues than Max, he's a decent defender but him and Nelse are left exposed due to naive tactics which contributed to the yellow cards.

What's done is done. He made a mistake and accepts that and wants to move on.

Fair play to him, don't think many of the first 11 would do that in his shoes

We would have lost anyway. Rightfully so he's apologised, we deserve an apology from every player and the manager for that performance.

That for the last TWO home matches?

Going to be interesting to see what the crowd figures will be like for the last 2 home matches.
Is it only a 1 match ban for Blanchard?
perhaps he can apologise in person to the fans who turn up to the next 2 games

Ok guys, not as annoyed with Blanchard anymore.

The moment gets to you though as it did to me, felt very angry but having curled up playing football manager for a few hours I've now moved on. Still unhappy, but fines would be harsh.

1 game ban.

Attendance for the final two games will (at a guess) be around 7,000 each.

I think his last sending off was the final game of last season, away to Rochdale

I thought it was a stupid decision to bring the player down and was furious at the time.

BUT now I look back at it, what an absolute dive and Maxi is unlucky.

Nah- Kitson dives for it I agree but Max clearly pulls him and stops his motion. Kitson bought it and went down for all it was worth but that doesn't preclude that there was a foul anyway. Max only has himself to blame.

Not quite sure what Blanchard brings to the team. He never crosses the half way line,as he doesn't overlap or ever look like doing so.He poses no attacking threat whatsover. He cant pass, doesn't mark his attacker and commits a lot of fouls.Complete waste of time. Somebody else should start there not Blanchard. Maybe next season

I think he's 10 times the defender Trotman is, costs us nowhere near as many goals as well.
