At Senior Greens today Graham Carey said he was on a two year contract as his contract has been extended because he has triggered a clause in his contract based on the number of games he had started so far this season.

At Senior Greens today Graham Carey said he was on a two year contract as his contract has been extended because he has triggered a clause in his contract based on the number of games he had started so far this season.

Not quite what he said, I asked him if there were any discussions on a new contract he gave a big smile and said "30 appearances CAN involve an extension of the contract and he had a 1 year extension in his existing contract".

I'm not convinced if he received a better offer in January he would not at least think about it, he has a young family to consider.

The time is now for Brent to give Adams the OK to offer Carey a new and improved contract.
