So he didn't want Nelson?! And he didn't want Wylde who he originally signed?! Don't believe it.

Nelson didn't want us. Unless we had been promoted he had long ago decided to move on. Wylde was not offered a new deal. Sometimes a player that you watch and think is right for your team at the time turns out to be wrong. It is my belief that the decision to play a different style this season was made a while ago. There was no place for Wylde (and hence we have not signed a like for like replacement).

Wylde was offered a new deal. He didn't have his contract automatically extended by a year, so presumably there was something either Adams or Starnes (who says he deals with all the contracts) wanted to change in his deal, but he was offered one.
