I wish Barry Fry hadn't come and said this till it's a done deal. We all get excited again, or maybe some won't, then he goes and signs for Patrick Thistle or someone similar and we all end up cheesed off again.

Hopeful we may have learned our mistake regarding McHugh and appears DA might of.

Adams probably keeping cards even closer to his chest after the McWho saga...

Agreed wouldn't read to much it to this. A big lesson was learnt this week.

As for Barry Fry, I would interpret the his comments as the player isn't to keen.

On paper great player, not getting hopes up though.

Captain of a decent Peterborough team at 22 is very impressive. Which begs the question... why has it all gone wrong?

If this comes off it would be a very, very good signing. I've seen him play a few times and was always impressed.

Perhaps Andy hasn't heard.

OK, I'll tell him.

Tuggers!!: 'MAN OVERBOARD!!'

Ok I'm up to speed.

Bugger.

I just had a Leyton Orient fan, then ten minutes later a Peterborough fan, telling me independently that they'd be really surprised if we signed him as no-one seemed to rate him at their clubs, also that he's very negative with the ball.

For a minute I thought this was Josh Payne, little piece he is! Phew...

I thought the same when I first read the name.

(Josh being the old who 'enthusiastically' celebrated scoring a penalty for Aldershot in front of youngsters in Devonport/Lyndy... and was subsequently sent to prison on the back of an ABH conviction)

Jack seems a much better fit!

Doesn't want to drop into L2 my arse, didn't seem to bother him last season. Footballers and their agent do talk poo at times. If he is serious about not wanting to play in L2 then why the hell waste everyone's time talking to a club in L2. Obviously trying it on to secure a better deal.
