It would appear that Argyle were still his first choice club but they couldn't agree terms.

Says that they couldn't agree on things and talks about the ambition of Bowyer as part of that draw to Blackpool>Argyle. Seems odd to me, I'm not a fan of Brent, but I don't think Adams is anything but ambitious. My guess is that we wouldn't guarantee him as a starter/first choice and that we weren't offering him the "star striker" wage to suit. In fairness he would have been a very good striking option, but I'd have been disappointed to lose Reuben and have Matt as our most "proven" choice.
