No home pre-season game (update - v Reading U21)

Surely if Argyle are desperate for a home friendly, the posters on this site could form a team. With experts on fitness, team selection, motivation, tactics and virtually everything, a Pasoti 11 would sure put the Argyle first team firmly in its place and destroy any confidence they may have before the season kicks off.

The club are saying today there are two Saturday home games to be announced, 25 July and 1 August.

If one or two get sorted over the coming days then job done, it only becomes an issue if we get nothing sorted and go into the season without any proper practice against a decent team, no need to panic just yet.

So we could play against a P & D League side then? And if we had no manager who should have organised it? Not too much effort to get Starnes to pick up the phone is it? Not rocket science.

I fully expect, given our boardroom connections, that a home match will be fixed up with Bristol city and maybe even Preston. But its just so unprofessional to leave things so late to organise pre season friendlies.
