Burton and Shrewsbury are guaranteed places in the play-offs. Both teams are not far off automatic promotion now.

Wycombe, Bury and Southend are all surely going to seal a play-off place at least. Any one of them could take the third automatic promotion place.

Unless Northampton do something quite extraordinary it looks like it is any two from five for the remaining play-off places - Stevenage, Newport, Argyle, Luton and Exeter. We have three highly winnable home games left, against Mansfield, Wimbledon and Tranmere. I think it is still there for Argyle to throw away. Exeter's next three fixtures look very tough - away at Shrewsbury and Wycombe, then home v Southend . Luton have to play Burton, Southend and Stevenage. Newport have to play Bury and Southend. I reckon Stevenage and Argyle have the easiest task of the five teams.[/quote]

I don't think that anyone thinks that this is going to be easy, but you must see that out of those five teams there, us and Stevenage do have the easiest runs?

I certainly wouldn't want any of the fixture runs that the other teams have.

What I was trying to say - was that it is wrong of us to think of them as easy games, players read this site I assume, and I don't want them thinking that they are easy games, they will go onto the pitch in the wrong frame of mind - which seems to be the normal for them - I want them sych up and pumping every sinue in their body to win these games, not to have a psycological wall in their heads that it will be easy for them.
