Shrewsbury, Wycombe, Bury and Southend are all guaranteed places in the play-offs.

Stevenage are almost guaranteed a play-off place. Assuming they are successful there are still five teams that can get the final place but one of Argyle, Luton and Newport is most likely to grab it. Exeter and Northampton can still theoretically finish 7th but almost certainly won't.

Currently, the play-off semi-finals are Bury v Argyle and Southend v Stevenage but Bury and Southend are still definitely in the hunt for 3rd place and the result of their game in hand against each other (on Tuesday) will be crucial.

Luton have to play Southend (away; penultimate game of season) and Stevenage (home; last game of season).

Given that our last game is against Shrewsbury, who could easily be playing for the league title and look very, very strong, we absolutely need to get 3 points from our home game next Saturday against bottom-of-the-table Tranmere. Similarly, to avoid relegation, Tranmere will be gunning for us big time, because their last game of the season is against Bury (who could need to win to gain automatic promotion).

I know it's being said/thought but we shouldn't be concerned about Southend or Luton..we need to go and do the job on beating Tranmere....if we can't do that then we may as well give up our playoff place

Burton and Shrewsbury are promoted - either could still top the league; Burton are away at Cambridge, Shrewsbury are home against Argyle. A Shrewsbury win definitely gets them the title if Burton don't win.

Southend, Wycombe, Bury and Stevenage are all guaranteed places in the play-offs with the first three teams still in with a chance of automatic promotion, Southend are away at Morecambe, Wycombe are away at Northampton and Bury are away at Tranmere. I can't imagine Bury not winning at Tranmere so Southend probably need to win their game too. It really could go to any of the three teams (with Wycombe the least likely).

Argyle are all but sure of a play-off place. They will do well to get anything at Shrewsbury given the importance of the game for the home side but it really would take something exceptional for Luton to make up 3 points AND a +8 goal difference.

Currently the play-off matches are:

Bury v Argyle
Wycombe v Stevenage

If we don't end up playing Bury then it's most likely we'll have to play Southend. I think Wycombe will finish 5th and Stevenage can ONLY finish 6th.
