To my mind Sheridans pigheaded insistence on playing players out of position is costing us points and will go on doing so. Watchin McHugt failing woefully at left back is as scary as watching a randomly selected member of the public attempting brain surgery. Apparently the lightbulb finally came on for Sheridan on Saturday when he brought on Purrington, but it was very much shutting the door after the horse had bolted. We're off the pace already and it would've been worse had we not scored an equaliser 8 minutes into injury time against Stevenage...apparently people are happy that this is all part of the development of the side because there are 9 new faces (which is disingenuous if Cox Reid and Bittner count towards the 9). Other teams that have had an overhaul seem to have used their pre season properly.
He'll be here til the end of the season thats a given, but I have lost my previous confidence that Sheridan is capable of managing this team to its potential
