Surely any additional costs won’t be covered as all who attend will be season ticket holders.

IF we get through v Orient the Spurs game would be an ideal game.

No ST’s for cup games.

I think the it would be shortsighted to alienate people by flogging tickets to highest bidder. Charge a normal
Price and offer to season ticket holders on first come first served basis

Yeah up the price while in the trialing phase.

I’d agree with that - £40 would be sensible.

It used to happen with Category A games costing more so why not this to cover the extra cost of cleaning / marshalling..

I’m fairly certain that you could find 1000 people who would pay £50, if not more, to watch Argyle versus Tottenham. Anyway, we’re getting ahead of ourselves.
why not make it £500 then they could really earn there im a better supporter than you are badge.

With the stewarding and other costs I cannot believe it is worth bothering.

you don't think it's worth Argyle proving they can hold a successful test with 1,000 fans, so they can then move onto 4 & 5,000 ??

no I don't. I actually doubt that allowing 4 thousand season ticket holders in is financially viable. The costs involved would be extensive. At the moment the club have that season ticket money with no costs, these are difficult financial times and Argyle need to protect the clubs future. I get that the players want to play in front of fans and supporters want to get in but it currently makes no financial sense at all.

so the club selling only 5,000 season tickets, because they wanted to be able to allow just those 5,000 fans in when they were able to - that whole scheme that Argyle came up with .... was just a lie because they never had the intention of letting them in ? OK .....

I am saying what I think would be best, what has that got to do with what the club are going to do. My view is that the long term sustainability of the club is the only important issue. Club lying , what a weird statement.

the club worked out that limited season ticket holders coming in was viable. i think i'll go with their opinion.
