Sawyer is made of bricks and metal shavings;
Joe Edwards is not a wing back;
we need Byron Moore at wing back;
Jephcott has the striker's instinct;
we're horribly vulnerable to pace;
Sarcevic really cares about the club;
Bakinson is not much cop in a more advanced position;
one or two Argyle players may have eyesight problems under lights .
Good sum up, I agree with a lot of that. I would add:
- Hardie not match fit, you could see how he ran out of puff on that late chance. I like him though, and you can see he is a natural finisher
- Josh Grant and Bakinson both young and prone to errors of judgement but quality still shines through. I think Bakinson is naturally more suited to the holding role and gives us more dynamism at home. Perhaps Josh Grant could fit back into Wootton or Sawyer position at home?
- Moore better in wing back, agreed
- Miss Mayor
It feels like that last couple of games (first 30 mins vs Mansfield, first half vs Stevenage , and spells today) that we are just having some complacent moments or teams have worked us out. I think this is a blip that when Mayor back plus Mcfadz, Telford all fighting for places we will ramp back up again.
My main concerns right now is that there are 7-8 teams that could get auto promotion with not much to choose between Us, Swindon, Exeter, Crewe, Northampton (on a role), Colchester, Bradford.
The homes games against Crewe, Northampton, Exeter and away to Colchester and Bradford will be big juicy games coming up. And thats when we need the full squad fit and buzzing.
Overall, loving this season though, watched every game live from Australia and such a breath of fresh air over last year.
