I really don't get the clamour for something completely different from last year. Not long ago there were people complaining that kits were changing every season. Now they want more change every season.

Personally, I much prefer something simple and sleek like this, than having some gaudy pattern blazoned all over it. I agree with the comment on the Bristol City forum about many kits looking like the bottom of a swimming pool.

Over 100 years has something to do with it.

Proof though that the very dark 'branding' is a modern curse.
With you 100%. Why change to a dark green after so many years. This "green" is not and never will be Argyle green. :scarf:

It's been Argyle green for 20 years, over the most successful period in our history. :sigh:

Can't say I'm keen on the new kit. Looks a bit dull and uninspiring to me.

There’s some real marketing nonsense in the description there:

‘The NEW home kit was built with the clubs DNA, ROOTS & TRADITION in mind.

Featuring the iconic Pineneedle Green base colour with contrast Puma Black panelling & collar’

It’s literally a Puma template with an Argyle badge slapped on it, and I’m not sure many people would say that ‘pineneedle green’ is iconic.

If this is to believed then maybe it is

Funnily enough you dont get Exeter moaning about their change do you? This is how bad it could have been

Surely the proof if ever required Devon is green & White

Those early greens are way way lighter than what we have now.

What a bleddy load of old cobblers! There's hardly ANY contrast between the two which is why it's such a turgid, shyte combination.

Just marketing b*ll*cks! I'm not keen but a lot of others seem fine with it.
