You were correct. Charlton's result was irrelevant with Oxford winning. Only a Pompey win could have stopped them.

One thing from today’s match, I don’t know why Tomlinson hasn’t played all season looked very good and definitely better than the trash we’ve had back there, build him up in the summer get him in with a experienced centre half would be a great combination. Well played Tomlinson

Frankly with a very young squad I had us down for a 3 or 4-0 defeat so I'm ok with this, especially with losing Watts so early in the game.
