Think I`ll give a thumb down to the thumbs down/up idea. Bit fancy waistcoats to me, why not take it further and if someone gets 5 consecutive thumbs down they get a two match ban. I thought that if you agree with a posters comments then post as such, if you disagree then post and explain why.

I'm all for progress...it's been delightful not having the snowflakes back!

For what it's worth...

I mentioned above I'm using my phone to view PASOTI. How easy/difficult would it be for me to post pictures straight from it? For threads like match day or the grandstand development that could be a real plus. Perhaps it's possible now and I just don't know how to do it.

Don't often post on here, but have to agree that the thumbs up/down is a bad idea as it is often just used a petty vendetta mechanism and adds little to debates. The other updates sound good though

Don’t like thumbs up thumbs down. I don’t much like some posts on here but I’m happy to have a robust dialogue. Rather that than a dismissive/sneery (and childlike?) thumbs up and down silliness

Just want to say that the thumbs proposal is not a great idea. There is a reason why the vast majority of sites don't allow negative feedback on posts - it just encourages outright negativity throughout. I think the only place that still does it is the comments section of the Daily Mail

I agree. There might be folk who post quite sincere opinions, who are sensitive souls. If they are given a load of thumbs down, they might never bother to post again. We should rejoice that they are Argyle supporters who happily follow this web-site. Please review

I agree with QG, all Argyle fans should be able to feel confident of expressing their views on this site. Pasoti is unique as it is rated as a top quality fans web site. Why change a winning formula ?

As an occasional contributor on here. I also don’t think it’s a good idea having a thumbs down facility. You will get people with their prejudices, giving the thumbs down against certain contributors, just because they don’t like them. What value will it give, other than upsetting those who get a thumbs down. Surely it won’t make those who give a thumbs down, feel happier. BIG NO FROM ME.
