So Green Thing, you think we should lockdown the country again? I am with the chancellor, who stated we should stop living in fear.

a slightly different angle on your argument
a couple of people in a factory test positive, so a 1000 people self isolate
200 customers get no product to sell, so close down, losing 2000 jobs, affecting 10000 family members who now have no income
the original factory has to close, so another 5000 family members with no income
so 7000 kids with nothing for Christmas.
because the 200 customers closed, that might affect another 20 suppliers, each employing 200 people, and they all have to close down, so another 4000 people with no income, and so it goes on.............

as it happens, all of those people will be OK over the next 2/3 years because there will be plenty of jobs with people dying of cancer etc etc etc, because the NHS are using covid as an excuse to shut down every other part of hospitals to focus on covid. At least 100,000 people are expected to die earlier than expected because of the NHS being crap and older people having no or less contact with their friends and family.

2 players might not cause a problem on their own. However, they are likely to pass it on to their partners, who then pass it on to some of their work colleagues, who then pass it on to their partners, who then pass it on to some of their work colleagues, who then pass it on to their kids, who then pass it on to some of their schoolmates, who then pass it onto their parents, who then pass it onto some of their work colleagues, and on and on and on and on.........

If the two players tested positive, then they have to self isolate and all members of their household will also have to self isolate for 14 days, so preventing the potential spread of the virus.

It is a bit worrying that despite 6 months of publicity some people donā€™t seem to know the measures and procedures that have been in place since March.

HC Green. Yes, the 2 players have to self-isolate to prevent the spread. However, the two players would have been spreading the virus for up to 2 weeks before getting a test.

Vampires, Itā€™s a delicate balancing act and one which I donā€™t have the answers. My post was about explaining how a virus spreads as there are some who are confused over it.

Not sure where you get the 100,000 from but its harsh to call the NHS 'crap'. They are dealing with a once in a century health crisis. They have been hamstrung by 10 years of underfunding of course.
