Think Sol Campbell could be a good outside bet think I would prefer him to Flynn ! More likely to move too as we would be a massive step up from Macclesfield and after all he isn't bothered about location as wouldn't have too Macc job
Think if Lowe is the one cut off should have been today to make his mind up

He’s popped in my head many times to take on the manager role

He’s been a manager less than six months. Not for me.

Look who he played for.
Look who Lowe played for.
If I was looking for a League 2 manager I'd prefer Lowe's experience to Campbell's tbh.

i feel mister lowe is desperate to remain manager of bury and i suspect a rescue is near for them by a new owner.i think mister lowe is stalling and using argyle, not in a nasty way,as a stalking horse.i would pull the plug myself if he is the preferred candidate.

Since when did you CV as a player make you a good manager? The bloke wanted to be mayor of London before he thought he’d give the manager thing a go.

Me too! You only need to look back at the lack of success in team management by the late Bobby Moore and Bobby Charlton to know that past playing status is no indicator of managerial success.

For me Ryan Lowe has had more time than Theresa May to deliver Brexit in a footballing situation time to move on to someone who wants the job

You all know there’s no chance of it being Holloway, right?

Well I think it’s safe to say Michael Flynn’s Newport are a long ball side.

Hoof it to Jamille Matt seems to be the tactic.

Yes, I have come to terms with the fact you're probably right.

But if there's ANY chance though, however slim, he is still my preference. He fits.

If that's just how it is though then fair enough, Gourvennec it is for me. It seemed pie in the sky when he first came up so, like probably everyone else, I just ignored it.

But testing the logic the other day after he left Guingamp made me realise there has to be something in it, especially once IDL found an overlap in Romain and Jocelyn's former clubs. It's just too much of a coincidence that out of left field his name appeared in the betting. Most in the betting odds are just the 'usual suspects'.

Little else inspires me in the names mentioned. So like Ollie, if there's ANY chance, however slim, he is my next preference.
