Maybe he is that bit fitter now as before he always seemed to be chasing shadows always arriving too late and just running around like a headless chicken

According to DA he is defintely one of the fittest players. At pre-season training he was the fastest in sprint tests and he has now added endurance to his game, if recent performances are any yardstick.
