Debating continuing to pay a tenner for these games because for the rest of the season the majority, like this one, are probably going to be snoozefests.

The most forgettable half of football I’ve seen in a long time. Only real bit of action was Cooper making a good save from a sliced Fornah clearance. Aimson and Mayor playing well. Shrewsbury have pressed us well and prevented us building up from the back. Wind effecting the long ball forward. End result is the Forwards not being involved anywhere near enough. Defended pretty well but need to do much better going forward.

A dull half in which the Shrewsbury keeper could have brought out an armchair and a newspaper.

People say we don't have the players to make 3-5-2 work... but we look much more dangerous with wingbacks. DM has tried his best to make things happen but he must look up, see Kell Watts overlapping and think, "Why bother?".

Cooper made a good save from an Opoku slice but other than that it's been typical end-of-season fare and a great cure for insomnia.

Shrewsbury the better side but that doesn’t mean they’ve been great, both sides have been distinctly average & disjointed. Not that there’s a lot to play for but I do hope we have more in our tank in the second half, given we’ve all paid a tenner to watch this.

It does look like the narrowing of the pitch is a conscious decision. It suits their high press and makes our counter attacking and playing into channels easier to cope with.

I don’t think it’s easy out there! The wind is horrendous. The pitch looks lovely but it seems far too narrow and hence not much space.
