Opuku played LB for Stanley last season and made a name for himself. Surely a better call

Anyway COYGs :scarf:

Maybe Fulham want him played as a centre-back.

Shrewsbury had the better opportunities.

I would of preferred to see Watts play CB and Opoku at LB as he has more pace.

The ball not sticking up front. The service to the forwards is poor. The most frustrating thing is Argyle final pass / cross into their box.

Speaking of Opoku l do find him frustrating. Near the end of that half a flick into the box and their forward breaking into the box on the left hand side. He never anticipated it and he just left the striker a clear shot at goal. All the attributes of a good player but his anticipation and being aware of what’s going on around him is poor.

This is awful! I was such a fan of Hardie but the guy is so weak he’s got no body strength at all and can’t head or hold up. No interplay between forwards or midfield and forwards. As for the messing around at the back they will learn the hard way if they dont stop. Especially Fornah.
Ennis not at it today either but saying that midfield and defence seem to love passing to each other. But nobody wants to give the ball the forwards!

Surprised that Sawyer keeps saying ‘Plymouth’ rather than ‘Argyle’.

Plimuff.

Don't enjoy McNichol/Sawyer combo. Gaz just tells us how good his mates are at individual skills, even if the evidence is to the contrary. Rob scared stiff of being remotely critical - pood himself at one point when he thought his words might be interpreted as critical of Camara, and apologised profusely!

Dreary game.

The main commentator always seems a bit giddy and overawed whenever Sawyer is to him, it’s a bit cringey.

Agreed. He's much better with the former players.

The home commentary said of Argyle at one point 'Nice move but no end product'. Amen to that.

Mayor is missing Lewis down the left who is much better going forward than Watts, but you lose out defensively. Be interesting to see when the boss decides for more attacking options. Not a great game by any stretch although wind isn't helping,

Fair point. Parent club will always have a say

Our first shot by Ennis. A good save.

They're good mates so I don't think that's true.
