You are probably right. I was working on the theory that the harbour end of Southside Street was bomb damaged and rebuilt (near the Pasta Bar) and may have led to a straightening of the road.
11 is North Hill, looking left as you go up, just above the reservoir. I think the last proper building was the offices of Wolferstans solicitors. The nissan huts are now a car park.

20 is Whitelegg's fair , probably on the Barbican. I can name 3 of the people on the fairground ride; Gordon Peters, Roddy McNeil and Sue Mepham who were appearing in the summer season at the Hoe Theatre. I think it was 1963.
