I like Rowe’s pastys. Has anyone noticed the shocking trend of labelling them ‘pastie’?

Got to vote Ginsters because it's the only one I can get in Northern Ireland. You lucky people are all spoilt for choice!

The Original Pasty House in Tavi - I realise that having declared this, my life is now in serious danger. Since I'm going to get lynched by the mob I might as well say I'm not that keen on Dewdney's as well. RIP me.

Ivor's suit my taste fine. Oggy Oggy too. What doesn't work for me are pasties with a few huge lumps of chewy steak, which strangely enough are often the most expensive. Gingers pasties at the ground are a different and much more acceptable beast than those revolting supermarket ones that are produced to survive rough treatment and a long shelf life.

Cornish maids in Camelford,superb.

That's encouraging as my fiancé and I are ordering from them for our wedding

You will not be disappointed and I have eaten pastys everywhere at every opportunity.

Am I right in thinking that the Ginsters supermarket pasty has a fat content of around 50%? Every time I've had the misfortune to eat one it's always coated the inside of my mouth with grease so I can well believe it. Vile!

St Austell area-wise for pastys I’d put Pearce’s butchers & Mary’s at Grampound Road above Barnecutts; did collect 186 Saffron Buns from Barnecutts for my niece’s wedding though!, but collected the 186 pastys from Mary’s.
( For me, Pearce’s pastys are the best of all  )
