Blissett proved today why we need at least 1 if not 2 in quickly. For a big guy he is too gentle and slow - not league 1 standard, possibly not league 2 even IMHO

I hope a striker arrives soon because Blisset isn't going to get us very far this season!

On Exweb they are surmising that we might have bid for Wheeler. I don't think we would have the money to prise him away from Tisdale and I don't really want him anyway. Good player and all but he's bought too much into Exeter City fan's bias that he'd have a harder job than many to fit in.

Am told by a city fan that Tisdale told him they have had offers but Wheeler wants to stay with them. The city supporters I have spoken to were expecting us to be after him and were dreading losing their "best player". Greatly relieved when Grant came our way though he looked so much better in work rate and application yesterday than their description of him.

Wheeler... Would be useful I think, but strikes me as a bit weasely. If he wants to stay being a chino that's all the evidence I need that we shouldn't go near him
