How can that be such a daft thing to say BG?

The comments on here are about getting rid of Adam's, Miller is useless, Ciftci is too slow, Edwards and Bradley can't pay together etc etc etc. Not exactly support and 'getting behind the team' is it?

I can't be two faced by saying these things and then cheering them the next. 1 way or the other for me.

Again only an opinion of which there are plenty.

I'm away at the moment so watching from afar with horror. I defended Adams last season and still would give him longer but he really has made a right mess of this.

What on earth was he thinking going into the season with just one striker proven at football league let alone league 1 level??? Anyone could see we were light up front? Really really poor...

Also his returning late from holiday (albeit everyone deserves a holiday) and touting himself for the non-existent Aberdeen job smacks of taking his eye off the ball.

He badly needs to look at himself, completely let himself down this season.

Seen plenty of ups and downs over the years

I believe we have the right man to move us up league 1

Last 2 seasons have been exciting with play offs & promotion

This season I knew would be a challenge

Will honestly be happy to Finish 5th From Bottom this season

COYGs :scarf:

Just do us all.a favour and pipe down tonight with this mindless optimism.

His recruitment in the summer was alarming,

ATS - Waste of time, spent the whole of last season injured ffs
Ainsworth - Didn't he only start 10 games in the SPL last season?
Grant - City fans were hardly fussed about losing him
Wylde - Haha
Edwards - Fair enough, POTS at Morecambe
Ness - Don't think he's a bad player but very injury prone
Te Loeke - Football Manager 2017 signing
Lameiras - Not sure what to make of this one, was released by relegated Coventry though

In fairness to Lameiras from what I remember he chose to not sign a new contract, he wasn't released. Could be wrong though.

Good summary, add to that we went into the season with one striker proven in the football league :furious: who then gets injured on the opening day.

It looked crazy at the time, it looks beyond belief now.

when you look
At players like Slew and Spencer who were not prolific but worked in his system and chipped in with goals

Slightly pointless assessment, but ok. The concern for me would be the like of creativity/goal threat - we got a few things right against Wigan tonight, yet without really looking like scoring. A win on Saturday is a tough ask but it's points that ease relegation worries and we really don't want to be cut adrift at the bottom.

Possibly "better" to lose in Saturday as I think we and Adams formations and one trick tactic has been found out.

Saturday's a 'good one' to get right in that winning at Bristol Rovers will be a big lift for players and fans; after last season, and on the back of tonight, he deserves that opportunity. If it doesn't go to plan, he'd do the right thing to walk away and quit.

What do you mean on the back of tonight?!

A crushing, ruinous, waste of a promotion. As mentioned by others already, all summer and no striker sent alarm bells ringing.
