What proportion of those are challenging for promotion? One would think the higher in the league you are, the more attacking goal mouth incidents and more penalty claims.
Saturday's big shout does look a strong one again. Definately arm not his chest as their goalie worriedly tried to immediately suggest to the ref.

Everton are 12th, Crewe are bottom, Dagenham and Charlton are second from bottom and Colchester are third from bottom.
It's a footballing miracle that we have been in the top three for so long without being awarded (and converting) one single penalty.

That is an incredible stat.
When you consider that Everton have got Deulofeu, Barkley, Mirallas and Lukaku, for example, whilst we have Wylde, Carey, Tanner and Jervis (he, in particular, has had a raw deal) you would think that, on the law of averages, both clubs would have had a few penalties at this stage of the season.
It is difficult to fathom and it does make you wonder when we are often being described, even by our own supporters, as lucky, how many more points we would have by now if we had been awarded, say, 3 justified penalties.

Just imagine how we'd be doing if we had been awarded all the penalties we should have been this season.

Amazingly, it's now 37 games since we last got one.

Crewe have now been awarded a penalty so it's now us, Everton, Dagenham, Charlton and Colchester without a league penalty this season.

Like London buses.

Unfortunately here in Devon it is more like, "you don't see one for ages and then you get two in a fortnight"

Why London buses?

Is everything better up there?

Have you never heard that saying? (Although it should be "3 turn up at once")

There would have to be some disruption for it to happen here in Plymouth where we have a Sunday service every day of the week........ Which is good for taxis though
