The problem is the muppets that started singing this only knew (so only sing) the lines in bold (and repeat) (clearly shown by the above video).
makes it so embarrassing.
So embaraasing Songs these days don't have many words so its hardly surprising that kids singing don't know half the words and it just peters out into some kind of mumble.
Also everytime the ball goes near one of the goal mouths the whole song stutters and comes to a halt, losing any proper flow.
Other than those participating in the Devonport end no one really hears it.
Much rather just hear "Green and White Barmy Army", "Argyle, Argyle, Argyle" etc
