Crikey-PP lives in Plymouth but I imagine he must be a transplant.

If he likes Cornwall so much there's plenty of room down there, in sure his mrs could work for Cornwall county council instead.

Nope - sorry we are full and have more than our fair share of looney tunes.

And as for Cornwall Council - we are laying off loads already :(

But back on topic - its very worrying.

So where has all of this come from? I'm yet to see any reliable source quoting that we are in the sort of trouble suggested by this thread. Admittedly I wasn't on the chat when all of this seemed to emerge, but could this be a storm in a teacup? I do hope so.

Whilst not wanting to lend any credence to this rumour, if players are not being paid on time and or if there are fears of instability at the club it might account for some of the lackluster displays and inconsistency on the pitch

Oh heck, I'm starting to worry myself now.

best case scenario - points deduction and new ownership.

worst case scenario - no more Argyle

Surely Argyle wouldnt end look at AFC Halifax AFC Wimbledon etc

Surely we would Become AFC........Argyle Football Club

or perhaps we could become Argyle Athletic again and play at brickfields !

Or perhaps Penninsula Argyle so the cornish and Devonians could unite against the rest !! we could even wear yellow and black stripes away !!!
Just a daft thought !!

Has the ground been transferred/sold yet?

If not, I can't see us going into administration (as the ground may be bought by someone else?).

If the ground has been transferred/sold then the club should be debt free?

The director's loans have been paid back (they will lose nothing if we do go into administration?)?

Are we really in the financial poo or is this thread one almighty wind up?

I guess time will tell, but with genuine fans on the board, I'm sure nothing bad will be allowed to happen!

You do not say which ship the genuine fans are aboard. The Mayflower or THe Titanic!
