A decent win. I thought Gills were poor and will struggle this season if they keep playing like that. You can only beat what is in front of you though, and we put on a strong performance.
Everyone from Macey to Freddie did what was required of them, I have never been impressed with Conor Grant in midfield but thought he had a great game yesterday.
Need to kick on though. Our points return against Scunthorpe and Sunderland will be interesting, need to beat Stevanage too.
We still need to dig ourselves out of trouble but a win and a decent performance has certainly lifted the mood. The manager has bought himself some more time.
