Rumours suggest Peterborough are close to signing Ryan Broom from Cheltenham. Looks increasingly likely that Cooper is on his way out.

I’m wondering if this ship has sailed now.

Argyle couldn’t keep waiting around to see if he was available. They require a CB. Possibly a CDM. Then you have to factor in we need a LWB. We must be close to our salary cap limit if all three positions were filled.

Cooper would provide excellent options as a CAM but Argyle aren’t surely going to pay a fee in the current financial situation.

Would be the icing on the cake if he did join because of his ability to cross so well.

Posh offered £150k for Broom, which was rejected. If they think Broom is better than Cooper, logically Cooper must be valued at less than £150k.

A bid has now been accepted for Broom, thought to be about £250k.

Crossing is the weakest part of his game, apart from his shooting.

His crossing may occasionally be a bit hit and miss, nevertheless things happen when he has the ball, hence all the assists last season.
