Actually I’m with Shankster. I spent a good deal of my working life in pointless meetings and on various committees which were used mainly to score points and used to provide an opportunity for those who had no voice elsewhere. I’m glad that’s all behind me now. I’ll never ever join another committee. Watching paint dry is a far more rewarding experience.

For such a high flyer, our Shankster seems to be below the radar for the last few days.

Come on Shanks, don’t be embarrassed!

He's busy in meetings.

I’m totally in THAT club, after 40 years in a corporate at a senior level for the last 25 years, I empathise with such comments.

However it was the ‘look at me’ additions to Shanks’s post that made people comment on the way they did.

Such egos should be saved for the AFT.

I think the word for Shankster's post is 'humblebrag'

Anyway, I'm not seeing how boring work meetings are in any way similar to an Argyle Fan's Forum. What am I missing?

You are a natural genuine Argyle fan, whereas 'I'm a Hollywood Star, I'm Tom SHankster' has to work at supporting Plymouth!

If he does go tonight, here's a photo taken of him a few weeks ago.

I assume it’s still on.
Nothing on website since 23rd November but no reminder in the last couple of days (apart from GA 1984, of course).

Have to laugh at this thread -

Fans mocking other fans for wanting to attend

Critisizing their opinion and or questions they want to ask

Avoiding answering a direct question themself

Some huge egos on here that input nothing but negativity and condem others positivity
