do think that Stapleton only ever acted in what he thought was in the best insterest of the club. I think the NWO conned him just as they conned us but he stewarded the downfall of our club when he allowed the NWO to string him along with their big visions and property plans. And for that and his association with this torrid time, he must pay the price.

Very much agree. The one thing I have maintained in the last week is that the best thing Stapleton can do now ensure is to that he passes on control to somebody who has the best interests of the club at heart. Not just cut and run.

I do hope he has ensured that the ground cannot be sold to a private venture. That's what made us attractive to venture capitalists in the first place. I didn't agree with the purchase then but now we have it, we should do everything in our power to keep it.
