Doesn’t work like that unfortunately Stuart. In this league if you don’t have a wage structure then you lose team cohesion if you treat any individuals specially. Different in the Premiership of course.

Not entirely true - because I'm not sure many in the squad are close to what Carey is on.

Better than the 3 we have! Forgiving Cooper's youth, probably the worse set we've had since Nicky Hammond was first choice. Although John Sheffield was a low point too. Letheren has benefitted from being behind a much better defence than Macey had earlier in the season.

What struck me about last night is that we don’t seem to have anyone who can play the attacking central midfield role Sarcevic does. He’s very close to having a 2 match suspension, I really think we should be looking for a good quality player that can cover this position.. or is Conor Grant (when he returns from injury) or moving Carey Inside (with Joel Grant slotting in at LFW) expected to fill the void ?

I'd like to see Jephcott given a go there.

Carey was used there effectively in a game before Xmas until Adams thought he'd try Lameiras ' didn't work then either.

I reckon Jephcott would be a good shout.

Well, you’ve changed your tune. Suddenly, you are implying that the squad that DA has assembled is good enough and only needs one new signing.
You were talking about ‘nine donkeys that we signed’ 6 weeks ago. Now, 3 of the ‘donkeys’ are in the team and performing well. In addition, Ryan Edwards has recovered from illness and Gary Sawyer is fully fit after injury and, based on his 4 performances, Kyle Letheren has exceeded expectations,including mine. In addition, Conor Grant is probably a good signing and Tafari Moore could still be one for the future. Even Wootton and Dyson could, eventually, come to the party.

If it is Remi Matthews the commentators are saying he isn’t having a good game especially with dealing with crosses.

I suggested Mark Little recently. He featured for the first time in a while. Good CB at this level.
