Excellent choice. Nelson is a real work horse and IMO a player who always gives a solid consistent level of performances. Happy days! really excited for the new season.
he may be a work horse but is he a leader an organiser time will tell.

In other words three pairs of hands lifting the League Two championship trophy in May. :)

Aaaah, you're thinking of selling to L2 rivals in the January transfer window?

I think this was the easiest choice for the club this summer.

What was evident from last night is that Hartley is very vocal and a leader which is great. McHugh, Cox and McCormick are much quieter but leaders in their approach and lead by example. That alongside Nelse as skipper bodes well for the new season, we really lacked leaders and the type if players that will be consistent to blend with the flair of Banton, Alessandra and Thomas.

Agree with that, it was very noticeable at times.

Good to see.

Not sure about Luke as club captain, will it attract the wrong publicity I wonder ?

One red top has picked on it and reported it with the usually slant and emotive words.
