Here's what i've learnt about him in the last 5 minutes via Coventry fans tweets:
- Lots of technical ability
- Good player
- Versatile (Can play across the attacking midfield positions)
- Inconsistent
- Needs to toughen up (would struggle in L2)
Similar qualities to a number of other Derek signings. At 22, lots of potential to work with.

Played 19 times for Coventry last season when they finished second bottom - suggests this is more of a squad signing than a starter perhaps. Young enough to improve though, and seems like he's been highly rated before by decent managers.

Perhaps Wotts can give him a bruise or two in training, which will toughen him up for the rigours of SKY bet One, let alone Two! Welcome to Home Park Ruben. If you do not like flying, the Plymouth/Santander ferry will make getting back to Portugal on holiday, a damn site easier than from Coventry.
