Dull game, Morecambe sneaked it with a bit of luck and the benefit of a couple of decisions. They did finish 4th though and it is a tremendous achievement by Adams on very limited resources.

Sad to miss out on a relatively close away game but on the plus side an opportunity to welcome Songo'o and Adams back to Home Park, maybe different receptions for the 2 of them.

Not really a surprise. Dire, negative anti football. Some will say look at the result, but the game was won by a dive and other than that only one side played with any positivity....it was a carbon copy of the Argyle performance at Wembley, it was just luck that Newport fluffed their lines in front of goal and the ref gave a howler decision.
Something to look forward to next season though as I think a certain Mr Ennis might fancy his chances against them

You can't deny that the job DA has done in taking Morecambe from relegation fodder to promotion in 12 months is truly miraculous... However, that was such a negative performance. It was much the same as when we played there except Newport didn't take their big chance and a couple very big decisions went their way. Should struggle like billyo next season but could be tempted by a cheeky quid on them somehow staying up.
